There are three types of interpersonal interactions: conversational, transactional and collaborative.

Getting to know what is different between them is vital to ensure that an appropriate software application is selected to fulfill your needs.

An interaction of conversation is a transfer of data and an interaction of transaction is transfer of a transaction substance between two or more participants, while collaborative interaction is used for a change of a collaboration entity, for example: achievement of a shared goal.

The power of these tools lies in the ability to allow participants to manage action plans, exchange documents, track projects, monitor schedules, optimize business processes, be instantly notified of any tasks and activities they are involved in. There are a plenty of approaches to making these applications useful: scheduling events, documents and projects, facilitating business processes and coordinating work of two or more departments or even offices.
